August Midweek Drive – Waitlist Open Until Sunday August 20

This event is full.   Please use the waitlist registration until Sunday, August 20 to let us know your interest.  We will try to get as many as we can in.

Please join Tosh Kanno, organizer, on his drive in the Chehalem hills, West Hills and cool off drive on Skyline. We start in Beaverton and wind along backroads to our nice rest stop at Rood Bridge Park. From here we go north and wind our way over the West Hills down to Highway 30 and right back up to Skyline for the final leg to our destination.  We cover farmlands, vineyards, forests, and great vista roads on one of his favorite drives. We will meet in Beaverton at 9:00am, have a participant’s meeting at 9:15 and leave around 9:30.  We end at the Golden Valley Brewery and Restaurant in Beaverton.

We have room for 12 cars. A volunteer is needed for the sweep responsibilities.  Please volunteer when you register, if you are able and willing to accept the responsibilities.

If the drive is full when you get here, please sign up for the waitlist and we will see if we can add a 2nd group.

General Information

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.
• Registration is by car. Each driver must register their car. If you have a navigator, you will register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator questions as N/A.
• The exact start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions and Scenic Navigation App Access will be provided a day before the event to all registrants. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see an email with the directions within 24 hours of the event. Since this is a registration only event, please do not share this information with anyone else.
