June SUV Drive

The June SUV drive will explore many of the lesser-known country roads in the North Plains area with a total drive length of about 90 miles.  This SUV CAT 1 drive begins in Hillsboro and will have 4 short segments of well-maintained dirt or gravel for a total of 5.1 miles. The drive ends in Gales Creek for lunch. There will be 2 rest stops which will include the recently popular new Jesse Hayes Park and the Killin Wetlands Nature Park.

We will meet at 9:00, have a brief safety meeting for all participants at 9:15 and begin the drive at 9:30.  Since this drive includes some off pavement sections all drivers will need to complete the Off Road Driving Tour Self-Inspection Checklist.  In accordance with National PCA guidelines this drive is limited to SUV’s ONLY, however ORPCA members are welcome to participate with a non-Porsche SUV.

Registration is open. We have room for 13 cars.  Total drive length is 90 miles.

General Information

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.  
• Complete the required Off Road Driving Tour Self-Inspection Checklist
• Registration is by car. Each driver please register their car. If you have a navigator, please register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator questions as NA. Please see registration at the bottom of this page.
• Attendance is limited to 1 group with 13 cars.
• Please note: The start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions and Scenic Navigation App Access will be provided 2 days prior to the event to all registrants. Please do not share this information with anyone else. Please check your SPAM folder if you do not get an email with this information by 5:00pm the day before the event.
