Air-Cooled Drive

Do you have an air-cooled Porsche?   If you do, bring it and join Kurt Furstenau for a fun drive.  The drive was created to support your air-cooled Porsche.  It is a nice drive of about 55 miles and should take about 90 minutes. The drive will be in the Columbia River Gorge area, with nice twisty roads and great views.

There will be 2 groups of 15 cars. We will all meet at 9:30, with a participant’s meeting at 9:45. Group 1 will roll out at 10:00, and Group 2 at 10:15.

Registration will open on Thursday, September 15 at 7:00 pm.  We need a Lead and Sweep for Group 1 and a Sweep for Group 2. Please volunteer when you register.  There is a Waitlist open in case this fills.

Lunch will be at the Italian restaurant, Ristorante Di Pompello in Troutdale.

General information about this event:

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.
• Registration is by car. Each driver must register their car. If you have a navigator, you will register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator question as N/A.
• The start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions and Scenic Navigation App Access will be provided a day before the event to all registrants. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see an email with the directions within 24 hours of the event.
• Since this is a registration only event, please do not share this information with anyone else.
