August Saturday Drive: Favorite Chehalem Roads

This is a different drive that I’ve been thinking about for a while. The first part of the route explores our inner city roads. This drive is less about pace and more about exercise in making our turns and enjoying the views. Our path takes us to Lake Oswego to West Linn, Wilsonville, Newberg, to the final stop in McMinnville. There a bit of everything in here but not anything in excess.
This is a 108 mile drive with 3 quick rest stops, about 25-35 miles apart.

There will be 1 group of 10, and if waitlist fills, a second group maybe added. Due to the nature of the route, we need to keep this smaller for everyone’s comfort.

The route will be on “Ride with GPS “ so it’s recommended that everyone who wants direction or phone GPS should have that app on their smart phone (iPhone and Android) or you can just use the printed pdf of map and direction.

Once you are registered and about 2 days before the drive, you will receive an Email from me with my contact information, all address of stops, instructions for GPS app, a pdf of the route map, turn by turn Direction Cues, and address of start, rest stops, and final destination.

General information about this event:

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.
• Registration is by car. Each driver must register their car. If you have a navigator, you will register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator question as N/A.
• The start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions and Scenic Navigation App Access will be provided a day before the event to all registrants. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see an email with the directions within 24 hours of the event.
• Since this is a registration only event, please do not share this information with anyone else.
