August Saturday Drive: Favorite Chehalem Roads

Please join Tosh Kanno for his August 10, Saturday Drive. This is a different drive that Tosh had been considering for a while. The first part of the route explores our inner city roads. This drive is less about pace and more about an exercise in making our turns and enjoying the views. The first part of the route explores our inner city roads. Our path takes us to Lake Oswego to West Linn, Wilsonville, Newberg, to the final lunch stop in McMinnville at the Grain Station Brew Works / Golden Valley. There a bit of everything in here but not anything in excess. This is a 108 mile drive with 3 quick rest stops, about 25-35 miles apart.
There will be 1 group of 10 cars, and if the waitlist fills, a second group maybe added. Due to the nature of the route, we need to keep this smaller for everyone’s comfort.
Please arrive by 8:30am to sign the waivers.  We will have a participant’s meeting at 8:45am and begin the drive at 9:00am.

Registration is open.  There is a waitlist already set up in case this fills quickly. 

General information about this event:

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.
• Registration is by car. Each driver must register their car. If you have a navigator, you will register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator question as N/A.
• The start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions will be provided about 2 days before the event to all registrants. The route will also be on “Ride with GPS “ so it’s recommended that everyone who wants direction or phone GPS should have that app on their smart phone (iPhone and Android) or you can just use the printed pdf of map and direction. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see an email from Tosh with the directions within 24 hours of the event. The email will include Tosh’s contact information, addresses of all stops, instructions for the GPS app, and a pdf of the route map, with turn by turn Direction Cues, as well as the address of the start and final destination.
• Since this is a registration only event, please do not share this information with anyone else.
