Last Call Drive

Event Description:

Join us for a late season drive before your baby goes into winter hibernation. The drive is a low altitude route designed for cool and wet weather; the maximum altitude is 450 feet. But if we happen to get sunshine and warmer temps, we will take that as well!

The route starts at the Fred Meyer in Hillsboro. From there we meander on back roads to Cornelius, then on to Blooming,  Midway, Scholls and Sherwood. There we join Hwy 99 to Newberg for a low altitude path through the Chehalem Mountains. We go through Newberg and then on back roads to Forest Grove. From there we drive to Verboort, Roy and North Plains, then onto the final leg through Helvetia and ending at the Rock Creek Tavern. They have a cozy fireplace to warm up and enjoy lunch.

Digital Navigation Support:

RidewithGPS / Scenic / Google Maps: Instructions will be provided to attendees with Driving Directions. Driving Directions will be sent to all attendees two days before the drive.

Registration Information:

Registration opens 10/16/24, 7pm.

Volunteers are needed for Leads and Sweeps. Please volunteer when you register if you are able and willing to accept the responsibilities.

General Information about this Event:

Registration is by Driver / Car. Each driver must complete the data collection in the registration form. If you have a navigator, please register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator question as N/A.

The start location, time, description of Digital Navigation Support as well a printable PDF file of Driving Directions will be provided two days before the event to all registrants. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see an email with the directions within 24 hours of the event.

Each Participant (Driver and Navigator) is required to sign the “Release and Waiver of Liability” at the start of the drive.

We encourage all participants to take pictures and share the pictures either on our social media sites or upload them to our photo repository using the link provided with the driving directions.
