2019 October Casual Midweek Drive Mt. Hood
Summary:
The drive starts at the Lewis & Clark Recreation Area in Troutdale on the west side of Mount Hood. We drive along the Sandy River on the Old Columbia Highway, then wind our way over to Hwy 26 for a rest stop in Government Camp on the south side of Mount Hood. We then leave toward Hood River and soon turn onto a narrow National Forest Road for a wide loop that leads us back to Hwy 26, which we then follow down to Welches for Lunch at the Rendezvous Grill.
